The service was efficient, friendly, and thorough. I actually enjoyed my experience and the visit was very affordable. The staff was amazing; I did not feel rushed and they did everything to make sure my pet was fully taken care of. I will now be bringing all three of my pets to this location from now on. I would recommend this place to my friends and everyone in Oak Harbor and all surrounding areas. Pets are not just their business, they love and care about them as much as I love and care for my own pets.

I recently went through the sudden and tragic loss of my dog. The staff and doctors at Best Friend’s assisted in bring her pain and suffering to an end. They were endlessly kind and patient with me as I struggled with the decision to end my dog’s life. They gave me all the space and time to say goodbye, and afforded me every courtesy / understand during my many emotional outbursts. I was a crying mess most of my time at their facility. While it will be a good bit of time before I have reason to seek their business, due to mourning alone, I would give them my highest recommendation to any pet owner. The only negative thing that can possibly be said is they had bereavement flowers delivered to my house hours after my dog’s death. If my only issue is that they expediently sent me something to celebrate my dog and her life, those are problems worth having! Thank you again for all your work.

Brought my dog here when I first moved to the area, so impressed by the staff and the facility that when we adopted two shelter cats we took them to Best Friends. The staff is wonderful, and the groomer that is there now is not only doing a great job, she is making up for the years of sub-par grooming in the past from previous groomers. I never thought I would have my shelter dog groomed, but now, I think she needs the pampering!

I've had a great experience with Dr. Erica Syring at Best Friend's Veterinary. I moved back to the Oak Harbor area after growing up here, I needed a vet and my parents trust their dog to Dr. Eric Anderson and have always been pleased with their services. My boxer had a lump which was biopsied and came back positive as cancer, which was terminal by the time we found it. Dr. Syring and the rest of the team were true professionals from the beginning to the end with my dog. I chose to have my dog put down in my home, it couldn't have been more peaceful. I would highly recommend their services.
