Dr's Ponti, Engstrom, and Tedrow are AWESOME. Dr. Ponti and Dr. Robinson do horses in addition to small animals; however, if you care about the wellbeing of your horse DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT see Dr. Robinson. He is not confident in his explanations and cannot answer simple(let alone complex) questions about the wellbeing of a horse without hesitation and going back and fourth with his unsure responses. You basically ask him a question and answer it yourself and he ends up agreeing with you. Personally I would never trust a vet that had little or no prior experience with horses until vet school. He treats large animals like a machine. Although he seems to like and care about them, he is obviously not comfortable. After floating my horses teeth, I noticed my horse had bloody lips from incorrectly securing and forcing the mouth clamp used to open the mouth. Then he made excuses for it saying that the little pieces of skin along with the blood were CARROTS!!!!!!

Sounds like Jacques is the one who needs to brush up on ferrets. The treatment used for mites on his ferret is far superior to the drops he wanted, and round worms are a real concern if you have kids (sure they're not that common in ferrets but seeing how serious the potential risk is, the vet was right to make sure he was aware!) excellent clinic with friendly staff!
