DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE ! I was quoted for $132 out the door price to neuter my dog (65 lbs). I talked to Amanda she looked at my shot record and everything was good. he weighed 73.2lbs at drop off so total out the door price was $179.68 with pain meds. I was told they would call me after surgery and let me know how he was. I just called at 1 pm because they didnt call me. My bill is $190. 78 out the door now ! I talked to them and asked how in the hell it's so much. well he didnt have a Kennel Cough vaccine, then the cone collar is not included, and tax for the pain meds. THEY WILL NICKLE AND DIME YOU ! THIS ALL HAPPENED ON 1/15/2015. AND I AM MILITARY !

If I could rate this 0/5 I would. Came in to get my rabbit's teeth checked out and came out with a paralyzed rabbit. He weighed 4lbs...how hard is it to restrain an animal that small? They claim to be very experienced with rabbits, but obviously not. After being charged nearly half a grand they had the nerve to tell me it would not cost much to put him down. He only lived for a few days...he was my first pet, I wish I never took him here.

Bad customer service! They look for any symptom to treat for to get more money from you. Today, I took my dog in for a grooming... I expected to pay $35... Wound up paying $165 because of a mandatory check up. On top of that, they treat the symptom not the problem... so your pet only gets temporary relief. oh, one last thing... They were in such a rush to get to the next customer that they forgot to give me the dog medication. Therefore, I had to drive back out there once I got home and realized what happened. Save yourself the grief don't take your pets here. I just wish I had realized this 2 yrs ago.

There is a woman who works behind the counter there who is about as approachable as a mean ol' pit bull. Not the welcoming kind of personality you would like to talk with behind the counter. I tried to avoid her as much as possible when I had to go in there a few times, for fear she might bite! Then there's the robotic personalities that they all have. No feeling(s) really..... The "I don't really care what you feel about anything kind of treatment." You'll get the "deer in the headlights" look and a patronizing word or 2 back. Or just ignored all together on what you have to say. If you are like me, and think of your pets like family, I would not advise taking your pets there. Their "Hearts" are not in to helping you and your pet(s). The tin man had more heart than they do at the Spanaway Veterinary Clinic. Take my advice, go to East Main Animal Clinic in Puyallup. It may be a little farther, but it's WELL WORTH IT! Lots of love and caring there.
