Love this Vet Clinic! The staff is quick to answer questions, and the prices are unbeatable. At first I thought that the whole dropping my pet off at the clinic and then picking them up later in the day would be a negative, however, with my wife and my busy schedule, it has been an awesome experience. Thank you Mountain Empire Veterinary Clinic! I will entrust my pets to you anytime!

Read all reviews before going to this vet, including the repressed reviews on other sites. Horrible experience with this vet. I have been going to Mountain Empire for years and this past year, was enough for me to find another vet. Most of the girls working the front desk are rude and act as though they cannot be bothered. Additionally, the last visit with Julia (first time I had actually got to see her in two years) was horrible. She was rude and dismissive. There was another woman who came in to visit her pet before they closed for the day. This was at noon on a Saturday. The woman's animal had dies the night before and nobody had called her. I was heartbroken for this lady. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Have been taking my cats to this practice for about four years. Both the doctor and staff are wonderful. They get us in and out quickly or on days that I can't wait, I can drop my cat off and pick him up in the afternoon. I will miss this practice when I move next year.

We've been long time customers of Mountain Empire Vet. The service has been fine for the occasional visit we've had to do but that changed once we got a puppy. Recently, we've experienced poor customer service with the handling of our dog and as the owners. There is a lack of communication from the workers at Mountain Empire as well as unable to give answers for simple questions.

I have been a customer (a.k.a. "Fan") of this office, and Dr. Leese for nearly ten years. I've gone through check-ups, cancer, surgery, and euthanasia of one animal, and fantastic care-taking of another 3. Through good times and bad, I have received nothing short of FLAWLESS care from not only Dr. Leese, but those in her employ. I must say that I have a hard time believing some of the negative reviews. Everyone has a right to share their experience, especially if they feel it has not been a pleasant one... But many of the issues discussed are in stark contrast with the dozens of experiences of myself and others I know. Instead of suggesting that these are planted or fake reviews, let me just put certain fears to rest: They are NOT at all 'money hungry' -- They are MORE than fair, costing sometimes 50% less than other vets in the area. Every Single Time I look at a statement, I find myself in shock -- and only due to the tiny number on said statement. They DO NOT complete ANY unnecessary, or otherwise extravagant procedures without prior authorization. You are constantly kept in the loop! They may not be able to treat your animal IMMEDIATELY, but just as in a hospital, they triage, taking the most emergent cases ASAP, and also prioritizing those with appointments. This Vet, and the staff, will love your animal almost as much as you do, and treat them as such. Words cannot convey how highly I recommend them. I will never, ever use another Vet, despite the fact that I live a considerable distance from the office.
