Very conscientious staff. Clean facility. They were very helpful in satisfying the requirements to fly our cat to Hawaii, a complicated and time-consuming process. I love this facility! Scott
Dr. Luther McConnell is the new co-owner of Animal Clinic of Spokane. He was the vet for our horses at a clinic in North Spokane and gave us excellent, compassionate service and cost-effective, safe recommendations. We are upset to lose him to downtown, but highly recommend him to you all down there. He was great to work with and happily explained procedures and options.
Treated my bird and the person who took her in horribly. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone
I have a dog, 2 cats, and a bird I had a hard time finding good vets that see exotics. The Animal Clinic of Spokane has new owners that see exotics and other small animals so I made an appointment for all of my animals. Not only are the vets knowledgable, they treated me and my animals well and for a fair price. It's nice to able to go to one vet clinic for all of my veterinary needs. I am definitely making them my regular vet!
I brought our 1 year old puppy in because of a limp he was having after exercise. We'd tried decreasing his activity to allow time for a soft tissue injury to heal, but the limp wasn't going away. Took him to Animal Clinic of Spokane. Dr. Sutton recommended xrays which sounded expensive but she assured me that they wouldn't be too expensive, probably around $150. So they asked us to leave our dog there all day, which we did. When I came to pick him up I was informed that they'd taken 4 x-rays of the leg, which were normal, but they didn't x-ray the shoulder. There was an $85 charge for the first x-ray and then it was another $45 for each additional x-ray. The bill was $265 for the 4 x-rays that told us nothing because we still don't know why he is limping and it could be the shoulder but they didn't bother to x-ray that while they had him there ALL DAY. And if we want the shoulder x-rayed it is another $85 and bringing him in another day so another office charge. So, okay, not thrilled but we gave them another chance. Brought our other dog in earlier this week because of an ear infection. They gave him a shot and told us to bring him back in a couple of days, leave him there all day, and they would clean out his ears. Cost, around $125. Go to pick the dog up at the end of the day and the bill is $234. Along with other misc. charges, they ordered a $55 dollar thyroid test that they didn't get our approval for. When we called to complain about the additonal charges they refused to reduce the bill. Needless to say, we won't be going back a third time.
