Never again will I bring an animal to this clinic! I've had family members swear by this clinic for years - and the few times I've gone there before today I've been satisfied with the service. Today was a completely different story. We took our cat up today after he started having some issues/pain urinating. They told us he had a urinary blockage problem would be fine for a day and to bring him back tomorrow. As the night went on he got worse and worse to the point he was almost passing out (trying to urinate his eyes would squeeze shut and he'd start convulsing). Hunter's was closed at this point so I called two other clinics to get opinions. Both urged that I take him to emergency care because this could very well be life threatening. If they were recommending that I bring them to their clinic I could maybe believe they were trying to drum up business for themselves but both clinics urged that I take him to urgent care tonight. My girlfriend is taking him up there now and I can only hope he'll be alright. None of my animals will be visiting Hunter's again though.

I went to Hunter vet during its walk in hours and they provided excellent service! Dr hunter examined our kitten right away and it was a very positive visit and our kitten is going to be okay thanks to hunter vet. Highly recommended. Fast and friendly service

We just moved to Spokane and chose Hunter Veterinary Clinic after calling five others. We have Izzy (11-year-old Springer Spaniel) and Chewey (aka Stinker, the cutest 6 month old kitty we know). The clinic quoted far lower charges for the services we needed, their telephone presence was awesome, we were able to make an appointment right away, and the services were efficiently delivered by caring and clearly competent staff. They get our vote for the Spokane A list. We could go on but we will just say we are delighted that our animals have such great, affordable care!

I have taken several of my animals to Dr. Hunter in the past few months and have been very pleased every time I go. Their service is great and their staff is extremely pleasant to deal with. I read these reviews before I went in and was cautious of the negative things that others have pointed out(Dr. Hunters knowledge and poor social skills) and had zero complaint about any of it. I was very nervous about the procedure my dog was having done and he took the time to come out and talk with me and answer all of my questions. My dog was a rescue and had many issues that they were going to address while she was sedated, the Dr. gave me a phone call once she was under anesthesia and let me know exactly what they had found and what they were going to do to take care of it and made sure I was ok with everything before actually proceeding. That is customer service that is hard to find these days! She is recovering awesome and seems to be a much happier girl. I am also very impressed with their prices; you get the same bang for your buck(no shortcuts!) for much much less. I can't say enough about how happy I am with this clinic, by far the best vet I've ever taken an animal to and I would highly recommend!

I will NEVER go to another vet clinic! Hunter Clinic is attentive and I am thankful for the knowledge and compassion of Dr. Hunter. Because of them I have healthy/happy animals!
