Took my poor dog there after he was struck by a truck out front of our home here in Spokane Valley. We rushed him over only to find out that they wouldn't even begin to glance in his direction without cash in hand, on the table, in their pockets - immediately. They feel they have their reasons for asking for money up front before anything is done, and to that effect I can only say, whatever helps you get to sleep at night. As to the crux of the problem: the place is an EMERGENCY clinic. When emergencies occur it can be a little hard to ensure that you have your pocketbook in order, let alone shoes on your damn feet because you probably ran out of your house to rush your poor friend to an EMERGENCY clinic for help! Was able to barrow some cash from my selfless friends pocket; just enough to get his leg clipped and cleaned and a bandage put on it. Not enough money for anything else. What have these supposed humanitarian institutions come to? They would have ignored my dogs needs... Yeah, don't take anything you care about to this place.
been there 3 times in 10 years. These vets and their staff are horrible. Don't recommend.
We had our toy aussie that was having a terriable time with pregnancy. We brought her in and was seen immediately Dr. DeMarco was wonderful and did a great job on our girl. She had her surgery and we brought her and 5 babies home all healthy. I could go on and on... the gals in the front were wonderful and caring and explained everything. I wish Dr. DeMarco was in private practice - we would go to him. He is kind, gentle, and has great bed side manner for the human parents. Best thing I'M A GRANDMOTHER!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE AT PET EMERGENCY CLINIC
This clinic is AWESOME for pet owners who need some friendly very helpful veterinary care. They were quick at finding the problem and provided spectacular financial and medical guidance for our next steps in animal care. They even called back the next day to check in and see how she was doing and provided further advice.
I brought my little girl there when it seemed she was having problems delivering her puppies. I was informed by the vet on duty that if I didn't pay $1200 for a C section, my other option would be euthanasia. Fortunately, I found a nice vet who said claiming she needed a C section was premature, we waited, and she ended up having them healthily. DON'T BRING YOUR PET HERE, THEY WOULD RATHER EUTHANIZE YOUR ANIMAL THAN HELP IT GET BETTER, AND ARE IN IT FOR THE PAYCHECK, NOT BECAUSE THEY CARE FOR ANIMALS.
