This is a top notch, first class operation. My dog is simply the strongest, sharpest and most obedient lab I'll ever own. In an area not known for bird hunting, Conway Kennels makes it feel like home. Their experience, knowledge and facilities are excellent and a rare find anywhere in the country. Bucko and Mel actually care more about your dog, then you, and I'm ok with that. These are great people offering expertise for the highest caliber dogs in the area. Always an awesome experience, and Dekes is always fired up when we pull into the property... 5 Stars!

I left my dog Trigger at Conway Kennels for over 3 months. It cost me $900 per month which was fair, however my Golden Retriever that went in happy, healthy, and extremely active came out unable to even get off of his front legs onto his hind legs. Conway Kennels told me daily when I called to check in that her daughter was walking my dog everyday, this was obviously not the case because he had sores all over his front/rear legs and scrotum. I will never in a million years bring my dog back to this "Con"way kennel because it is a Con and I hope somebody investigates the treatment of the animals they supposedly care for. Don't bring your animal here. Troy (commercial fisherman)

All the other reviews were great so we took our Jack Russell for a 5 day stay. They told us he would be in a 6' by 12' pen like those shown in the pictures on their site. This was important because he gets panic attacks if locked in a small space. When we came to pick him up he was damp in a small carrier in the unheated office and shaking like a leaf. Supposedly because he had just had a bath. If their pens are so clean then why couldn't he go back to the pen? There was another dog in a carrier and outside were several dogs in a multi-dog carrying trailer so I think they were probably overbooked. My dog was listless and did nothing but sleep for 5 days. (Very unusual for a Jack Russell.) He finally seems over the trauma and is back to his usual energetic state but we won't be going back there again.
