My dog had an emergency tooth extraction, and the staff were nothing short of fantastic. It's truly scary when your furry child has health problems, but I felt completely at ease with the professional staff here, and the costs of the procedure came out below their estimate, to boot!

We are so happy we found Dr. Kathy Claus when we moved to Vancouver 7 years ago. We have rescued many cats over the years and we can always count on her for excellent care and fair prices! An added bonus is the awesome staff. We always feel welcomed and know we can trust the care of our beloved animals to this team. During the hard times Dr. Claus is always there for us as a solid source of comfort and insures we have the information we need to make the right decisions for the care of our pets.

Our dog had a lump on his back, and we wanted to make sure it was not cancerous. We expected that the vet would take a sample and send it to a lab. Dr. Evert did take a sample, but, rather than send the sample to a lab, she examined it under a microscope while we waited. She informed us that the lump in fact was an infected old wound (perhaps from an insect bite or sting) and was healing on its own. She supplied some ointment to speed the healing process and sent us home. Both she and all of the staff were very kind and friendly. The appointment, sample, microscope work, and ointment came to just under $80. We recommend this clinic highly.

I have had cats for my whole life and I have never had such consistently excellent care as my cats ( and dog) receive at Claus Paws.Dr. Kathy Claus is without question the most caring and knowledgeable vet I have ever known, and I have known many over the last 65 years, and the entire staff is wonderful and caring.I give this clinic the highest marks! Five stars all the way.
