The receptionists and vet techs are great, friendly, and helpful for the most part. I was annoyed that everything I told the vet tech I then had to repeat to the vet. When you go to your doctor the nurse asks you questions and writes stuff down so when your doctor comes in they have an idea of whats going on, it should be the same thing at the vet clinic, but not at this one. I have been to this clinic 3 times in the last 2 years and each time it is a different doctor. I am starting to wonder if they just have volunteer doctors because there is no information on who the heck is practicing there and its always a different person every time I go in. I feel like the vets I have met do not give you well rounded information so you can make a well-informed, level-headed decision for options for treatment. They give you worse case scenario to scare you in to doing unnecessary tests and treatments then give you all the basic information you should have been told in the first place and end up advising you to go with the most simple and basic treatment you can start with which should have been the first step before torturing my animal and robbing me. They may know science and anatomy and pharmacology yada yada but YOU know your pet best and based on what you know about your pet and the information your vet can give you, YOU are the one who knows whats best. So when they mislead you or leave stuff out, it's a mess. I am so sick and tired of vets doing this. Ive had a few other things happen but I think this rant is long enough. Never going back.
I had a great experience at All Creatures Animal Hospital. I am very choosy when it comes to veterinary care for my animals. At first, I was nervous because the waiting room was quite small and the building looked a little dingy on the outside, but the friendly receptionist made me feel a lot better. My cat was meowing, and the receptionist took the time to comfort her--even remembered her name without looking at the chart. The doctor was very warm and kind as well. I loved how thorough the examination was, even though my pet had no obvious ailments. I was given a very detailed sheet explaining what they checked and what to watch for. My cat loves the free toy she got! I will definitely be back with my other pets.
We boarded our cockatiel here for one month while on an extended vacation. When I picked him up I was shocked to be presented with a bill for $609. In the past we have boarded him with a vet in Fond du Lac for under $5/day--not $20. Admittedly, I did not ask their price before leaving him-- I assumed we would be billed a reasonable and fair amount. We supplied the food, bedding, treats, etc. They had no out of pocket expenses and our bird was not examined by their vet. I consider their charges to be completely out of line and advise potential customers to shop around before using their services.
My family just got back from an awesome visit. We have been coming to this clinic for almost five years and Dr. Sieber has always provided great care for our rabbits and parakeets. The staff feel like family and are very welcoming.
This place is just horrible. I have brought my dying rabbit to that clinic knowing he wouldn`t come back. The vet assess his condition and then goes on and about ways to care for his illness, a lot of surgery and imbedded tubes in his tiny body that`s now has become too light for them to even get a number from the balance. And mentioned that as far as cost, he wasn`t exactly sure for it would be, but in other words pretty EXPENSIVE. Didn`t even mentionned that it would be the BEST option to end his suffering and let him go hop around freely in bunny heaven. I was the one who had to say word for word that I wanted him humanly euthanised. And I was bringing my other rabbit for a complimentary FREE physical because I adopted from a shelter. The vet checked his ears and that`s it. No nail triming, no body temperature taken to verify it was normal, no assessment of his teeth, nothing! And the vet even DARED telling me to bring back a sample of his stool for testing. I have 2 others rabbits that have been to that clinic and when I paid for they`re physicals, they got everything done. I couldn`t understand a word from the vet because he was mumbling the whole time! And one of the receptionist is just a horrible unfriendly person. Doesn`t smile and really doesn`t even make the effort of showing some kind of sympathy towards my loss. I`m NEVER going back there. They don`t care about animals! They only care about making money! My rabbits and I DESERVE BETTER! My dog will NEVER go to that clinic either.
