I'm not good at writing reviews, but I feel like I should try. We went to VES-East. We had gone to our primary vet, and were referred to VES-East because our 5 month old kitten was having breathing troubles (from jumping off our upstairs steps, unknown to us at first) from a pulmonary contusion. The staff AND doctors and technicians were all VERY helpful and understanding, and most of all caring. We had a limited amount of money with our Care Credit, and they seemed to try to figure out what was going on, and kept us updated on our kitten, AND the cost, as they went, which was very helpful to us! They managed to get our kitten feeling better within a week, and provided us with all the info we needed to care for and keep an eye on him at home after he left their clinic. I am so very happy with the service we received, and the care my kitten received. I will gladly recommend them to anyone and everyone. Thank you!

VES is a first-rate animal emergency hospital! Both of our Great Danes have received treatment there, one for intenstinal obstruction and the other for ongoing orthopedic issues and bloat. The staff was very compassionate and kept us informed throughout treatment. From the moment they were first called, they gave lifesaving advice and were waiting to help bring the dogs in. During the surgery and hospital stays, we were given constant updates and always provided with a current cost and timeline. They worked seemlessly with our regular veterinarians and were very helpful in determining future treatment. While we hope never to use them again, we're very glad they are there for our four-legged family members.

I was so impressed with the kind care and service we received at VES. We came in late last night with our puppy who was experiencing an eye issue, and were treated immediately. After ascertaining that the puppy was ok, the veterinarian on staff even conducted a little extra research to see if the problem could be breed-related. It was an additional surprise to find out we didn't owe an arm and a leg at the end of the appointment. We feel so relieved to have found this clinic, and would recommend it to anyone.

Highly suspicious business practices! Took my pet into be seen and felt like I was at a used car lot. Rather than being concerned for my pet, I was hit with the question, "What can you afford?" "We can cure her completely for this price but we can only keep the problem in check for a lesser charge." The level of care my pet was offered depended on how much I had readily available to pay instead of just telling me exactly what needed to be done to make her better and what the final cost would be.

Two weeks ago my 4 month old great dane puppy was taken here for a severe reaction to his puppy shots. He ended up very swollen and vomiting which he in turn aspirated into his lungs --not good. My puppy ended up staying in VES for care for 5 days. The whole time, we were kept very up-to-date regarding procedures that were being done and the cost of them. Since he is a large breed dog, we were kept aware of the possible side effects of each medicine that may need to be administered. Furthermore, we found the staff very comforting and understanding of our position. We were invited to visit whenever we wanted, so we visited our little guy morning and night. Each morning, we were given an overview of the costs as they stood as well as where they would be at the end of the day should everything remain the same. By the second morning the folks at the front desk knew who we were and were telling us stories about how much our little guy is loved by the staff. Dr. Thompson was incredibly informative and she gave us all of the facts--gently. Dr. Fay was also a great help! Ultimately, I am SO thanful for this service. The staff is caring and attentive and the service--was amazing. Thank you for bringing our little guy back to health!
