This vet clinic has amazing customer service, they are so caring and compassionate. Fair prices and excellent vets!

I have been going here for the last 14 YEARS truly believing that my animals were getting quality care. I had planned on adopting 2 cats. The told the shelter that my dog was NOT NEUTERED. My dog has been neutered for 6 YEARS. I didn't get him neutered at lakeside, when we called I couldn't wait that long so we went somewhere else... Since then he has had a HIP SURGERY which alone required MULTIPLE VISITS and ALL his shots from lakeside. How can they have been treating an animal for 6 YEARS and not have him listed as neutered? No doc. Had ever spoke to me about having him fixed because they had to know he is fixed after the amount of contact with him. How could they not know?!? This is pretty basic stuff, ya think? It's not hard to tell- he is a CHIHUAHUA with NO FUR in that area. When I complained they said I had to bring him in so they can confirm that he was altered. THIS IS NOTHING SHORT OF INCOMPETENCE. Your animal is NOT GETTING THE QUALITY OF CARE that you are paying for. I called this morning to have our file moved to a new office, they confirmed stating "so you will no longer be coming here?" I said yes. The said okay and that was it, they hung up. HOW MUCH DO THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS? There was no effort on their part other than to accept another office visit fee. Needless to say my 10 year old is heartbroken as he didn't get his kitties. SAVE YOURSELF FROM HEARTACHE DUE TO THEIR INCOMPETENCE IN TREATING YOUR PET- lucky for us our pets survived, rumor has it -intact-

Have been going to this Clinic since the 80's and can't imagine going anywhere else. We have always like the way the Dr's have treated our animals as well as dealt with us. They are truly animal lovers. Every staff member should be commended for their caring and compassionate way they treat our pets. Hats off to the Lakeside crew. And no, I'm not a relative!

I took my three ferrets to Lakeside Animal Hospital on March 13th of 2014 for an overall yearly check up and shots. The vet Dr. Jeff told me that my ferrets were in great health but needed a teeth cleaning but it was not a rush to have done. So we planned to have this scheduled this within the next few months. I also requested that my oldest (6) year old had blood work done because it was recommended to me by other experience ferret owners. Dr. Jeff told me this was not a normal practice and he saw no reason too and even printed out pages to prove his point. I felt like no matter what I said he wasnt going to do it. I left uneasy about that but I figured he was a vet and knew what he was doing. So we thought we had three healthy babies. Fast forward a month and My oldest stopped eating and her teeth were bleeding and it looked bad. So I made an apt at Animal Hospital of Oshkosh and they told me that her back tooth was mobile and they needed to remove it ASAP and that this should have been noticed and taken care of at my apt at Lakeside in March. I also had the blood work done that Dr. Jeff told me was not necessary to find out my 6 year old ferret has insulinoma. This could have also been caught and started treatment a month sooner if Lakeside took the time to care about my pets. I called to ask for a refund on her visit since they missed everything and I felt scammed. They of course said NO. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. I should also add that when my 6 year old stopped eating I called Lakeside to have Dr. Jeff call me because I was very concerned and he just didn't care at all and was no help to me at all!!!

Our pets have been patients of Lakeside for nearly 15 years. They have always treated our pets well and cared for them like family. From well visits, end of life care, orthopedic surgery, and urgent care visits, the team of vets they have put together is amazing. Over the years, we have seen every vet at least once and have not had a bad experience. We are also amazed at the value they provide, the bill is always less then we expect it should be. Thanks to them for providing such great care.
