Dr. Dittmar is probably one of the best Vets I have ever known. She is very knowledgeable, not "test happy", and actually makes it affordable to take care of your pets (or 4-footed children). She will tell you how it is, and honestly lay out the situation. I have been going to her for over 15 years, and couldn't imagine going to another vet. No, it's not a high-dollar designer clinic. Thank you for that!! She takes the time to know every one of her patients and treats them like they were her own. She wants and expects you to be part of the treatment and care process. It's nice to know that you aren't paying for an over priced facility, with TVs in the waiting room and all that. really. Who need to watch TV at the Vet?! Love her and her staff!

Dr. Dittmar was my vet for more than 15 years. She helped me with my pets and many animals that I rescued and rehomed. She was exceptionally competent, kind and caring. I deeply regret that I moved and am too far to bring my animal companions to her. You will not find a better vet. Believe me--I have tried unsuccessfully since I moved to find someone who even approaches her level of care.

I have taken both of my dogs here in the past, and Annamarie was so gentle and kind to them both. Last November we had to have our 16 year old dog put down, and when I called I talked with her about it and I was crying and so was she. She is very sympathic to your feelings and your love for animals. I go to her for this reson and drive quite far. She is very affordable but most of all she is caring and compasionate to them as well as their families. I want someone who is compassionate not who has the nicest building or furniture. As far as the cleanliness I didnt find it dirty or filithy like the one posting said. Floors were clean and so was everything else. Good job to all at this clinic. God Bless.

Wow! there are some vindictive people out there. If is wasn't for people like Annamarie that loves animals more than the almighty buck. Most of us would not be able to love and care for our pets, if it wasn't for her. She gets an A+ in my book and I am there practically every week. I have never seem anything like this person is talking about. It is an older building with older furniture, but the place is kept very clean, I see girls sweeping and mopping the white floor constantly. It may have to sit on wet muddy days; with dogs coming and going at a rate faster than most clinics could keep up with. She has done successful surgeries on my dogs that most vets would not tackle. Some people must be in a constant state of anger and it is sad for them.

Love this place and if one has gone to as many vets as I they would realize that a place like this with animals that live on site can not look like a Mequon vets office - where - by the way I was charged 800 dollars to have my dogs teeth cleaned and they have never taken in a homeless animal and made it part of their office home. She is a true vet who practices her profession for the love of it not to fleece animal owners. She knows animals inside and out and does not waste time on silly (22 year old) owners. She is a vets vet and I am glad I found her. The profession needs more like her.
