My mother took her kitty to this vet for 14 years. My father passed away, and then did the kitty. She loved this cat with all her heart. She became sick and had renal failure from old age. She took that cat in all the time for shots, and loved the cat so much. During the year of my father's death, she also lost her home to a tornado. So apparently, the kitty missed ONE shot time...that's a lot going on in someone's life. When her kitty had to be put to sleep from being so sick, she went to adopt a new one from A.S.A.P. cat shelter. They check the vet records of course, and after all the years of spending so much money at the Sparta Veterinary Clinic, and all that she has been through, they gave her a bad review on a cat she loved ever so dearly, stating she didn't bring her in enough.....because of ONE shot??? Whoever had the heart to do this at this facility really has no empathy for human beings. She has been through enough already. It's just plain heartless, and they are very expensive! Don't choose this vet. there are other choices. they are happy to take your money, but not people with human feelings.
My puppy is there for treatment now for parvo virus. We were so scared since this can be fatal. However the whole staff was kind and understanding, the vet reassured us with stories of other similar cases and since they got him in immediately my baby boy will be just fine! The price was reasonable for 24 hr emergency care, though my baby boy making it through is priceless!
Both Vets were very competent, and immediately knew what was wrong with my cat Henri when I brought him in for emergency care. They gave him very good care, one vet even said she would take him home with her if he needed that level of care. They also were very thoughtful in regards to my finances - consulting me prior to care and they cut down the cost of the overnight stays. Even after we left, they called several times to make sure that Henri was still on the mend. If you are looking for a good vet - this is the place!
Very helpful and friendly. Their rates are not bad either. Highly recommended.
