This place is not a hospital, it is only a fancy boarding suite for pets. They do not care about your pet or if it is in pain. They only want easy and convenient cases. At a real animal hospital like "willow animal hospital" in Ashland, they care if your pet is suffering and want to help regardless of closing time. This place turns off their phones an hour before closing time and if you get there just before they close they will turn you away because they don't care. You can walk through the open door, stand there in the lobby at 5:55pm with your suffering pet in your arms and pockets full of cash and visa cards and they will tell you to make an appointment for tomorrow because they are closing. Their fancy building is not from doing successful business with the community, its because the place is just a boutique with shift workers who are watching the clock, counting down the minutes and leaving 15 minutes early without a care. I understand that the place has to have hours of operation and they cant just stay open until people quit walking in but they could have locked the door and given my dog a few minutes to try and see if there was something they could do or at least make sure it was not life threatening. I had heard many bad reviews of this place from people I know but I went there hoping they were wrong because my pet was in pain. I will never go again and I will warn others of how they do things at this place.

Drs. Bob & Jody and their crew have been taking amazing care of the pets in our family for more than 20 years. My mostly-lab "Grace" has loved the vet since she attended puppy socialization in the basement of the Tower Ave 14 years ago. How many people can say that their pet loves the vet?! The facility is clean, modern, and welcoming; the staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about your animals. The grooming facility is also first-rate. It's the only place we'll take Grace for her quarterly Spa/Pedi. Sure, it's a little more expensive than the discount vets and groomers, but the difference in cost is justified in superior care and quality.

I recently moved to the Twin Ports with a dog who was on her last months. I knew the time would come to make a very difficult decision and I called Superior Animal Hospital to make an appointment and found them to very understanding and concerned for my darling dog and for me. I needed to change the appointment time one morning when it became necessary to do so and called and was able to come in within hours. There was someone there waiting at the front desk so we did not have to check in at the lobby desk and wait. The entire time the staff and vet were so understanding, gave us all the time we needed and took care of everything. Even after she took her last breath they treated her with love and care. Less than a week later we received a lovely card and her paw print - I had wanted to do that but just could not that day and so very thankful they did. There was care and concern for my darling dog and for us. While in many respects it was an awful day, they did everything to make the experience as easy as possible. I look forward to having another dog someday and know exactly where I will go for the very best care!

I love it here! They have treated me and my family and all of my furbabies with nothing but gentle care. I've come in for routine exams, emergency services - where they had no appointments available, fit my cat in and performed emergency services after hours for me, they have always been completely honest and up front about services. I've always been able to get in right away when I have my appointments and I love the calm atmosphere when I am sitting in the lobby.

This place is awful and I will never go here again with any of my pets. I brought my cat in there because she was clearly sick, eyes red, sneezing uncontrollably, looked like she was in a lot of pain. This "hospital" does absolutely nothing and send us on our way... Oh wait, they did do something. They trimmed the fur around her bum because she is a long haired cat and problems were occurring, the so called "trim" made the hair even worse for her and more of a problem.... And finally, maybe it isn't there place to do a quick nail trimming on a feline, but I asked anyways. They tried doing it and they simply weren't able to because they couldn't contain her or so that is what they told me....That is some B.S. I have trimmed her nails quite a few times without much problem... This "hospital" doesn't care about you or your pets well being, they care about one thing- money.
